Asked and answered
Is the starting price the price I will pay?
It is the floor, not the ceiling. After the scoping call we send a written scope with a single fixed figure on it. That figure is what you pay, provided the scope does not change. If you later want something outside the scope, we quote it separately rather than quietly extending the invoice.
What if my project falls between two tiers?
That happens often, and the tiers are a guide rather than a menu. We price from the actual scope. The tiers exist so you can tell within thirty seconds whether we are in your range at all, instead of sitting through a sales call to find out.
Do you take payment in stages?
Yes. The usual arrangement is a third to start, a third when the working version is on staging, and a third when it goes live. For the smallest projects it is half and half.
Are there hidden costs?
Two costs are not ours and we do not mark them up: cloud hosting and your domain name, both billed by the provider directly to you. Typical figures are listed on this page. Everything we charge is on the written scope.
What if I want to stop halfway?
You keep what has been built and paid for, including the source code. We would rather part ways cleanly than hold work hostage — and if a project turns out to be a bad idea, stopping early is the cheapest possible outcome for you.
