The problem
Ice plants track production in a register and settlement in a notebook. Losses between what was produced, what was harvested, and what was actually paid for are invisible until the month is already over.
How we approached it
Follow the block from freeze to cash. Every batch moves through defined stages, quality is a measured pass rate rather than a feeling, and harvest trips reconcile to settlement — with exceptions raised the same day, not at month end.
